Ah, Bushwick in the Polar Vortex – where jumping giant slush puddles and fearing frostbite is the norm

Hello there again! Didn’t think you would be seeing me twice in one day did you? Well, I want to share some pretty cool news that I just could not wait until next week to tell you

I think the only thing that makes me more aggravated than technology (don’t get me started on the jammed “lock” button on my cellphone) may be the MTA subway–I am especially looking at you L and M (J train wins “Train of the Year” by default because it consistently actually shows up

This week L is for Ludicrous (no, don’t get excited, not Ludacris, although I do love you Luda!) because quite frankly the Bushwick trains can just be so ridiculous and foolish sometimes

Starting late-night this weekend, the L train will run in two sections: 8th Ave to Broadway Junction, and Broadway Junction to Rockaway Parkway, running only every 24 minutes between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway
