Your Weekly MTA Update: A Sweet Thanksgiving Treat!

Your Weekly MTA Update: A Sweet Thanksgiving Treat!

What may be better than a stuffed turkey, homemade cranberry sauce and Thanksgiving pies… Maybe only the fact that our beloved L, M and J are actually running this week AND weekend. It looks like the subway gods noticed how much of a pain holiday traveling already can be (canceled flights, packed Megabuses…I could go on) and decided to do us a solid. Great news for us staying in town for the holiday – now we can easily take the train to our local Thanksgiving destinations!

Just a bit of fine print though (really didn’t want to rain on anyone’s parade) the L train will have some service changes in effect Dec. 2 -6 and Dec. 9 – 13:

Your Weekly MTA Update: A Sweet Thanksgiving Treat! Service operates every 12 minutes between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs and Rockaway Pkwy

Days, 11 AM to 3 PM, Mon to Fri, Dec 2 – 6  •  Dec 9 – 13

The last stop for alternate trains headed toward Rockaway Pkwy is Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.

Take a Canarsie-bound train or transfer at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs to continue your trip.

Happy Thanksgiving and, as always, Happy Riding!
