Yes, it is true. Your (drunken) Friday night commute home just got sloppier – at least for the month of August. The MTA announced that the L train will not have service weeknights between its Lorimer St. and Myrtle-Wyckoff Av. stations from Monday, August 5th until Friday, August 30th. That means weeknights between the hours of 11:45PM and 5AM if you are a usual L-rider chances are you will not only end up just taking a train home but maybe a shuttle or a bus as well.
