Your Weekly L Train Update: L Is for Localized
M train’s platform 12/18 after the L train failed us once again (photo by Erin Wicks for Bushwick Daily).

Starting late-night this weekend, the L train will run in two sections: 8th Ave to Broadway Junction, and Broadway Junction to Rockaway Parkway, running only every 24 minutes between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway. This means that if any of you’re looking to venture out deeper into the boroughs via the L in the next few days and are planning on staying until the wee hours of the morning, be aware that the L may keep you waiting longer than you’d like.

Check out the service change below:

Your Weekly L Train Update: L Is for Localized

Weekend, 12:01 AM Sat to 5:15 AM Mon, Jan 25 – 27

Service operates in two sections:

  1. Between 8 Av and Broadway Junction

  2. Between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Pkwy

  • Transfer at Broadway Junction to continue your trip.

Now, if you want to get a bit obsessive compulsive you can always memorize these subway timetables to perfectly plan out when you should start sprinting for the L train at 3AM. Or you can just wing it.

Check mta.info for any last minute changes and, as always, happy riding!
