Holy Smokes! Music & Arts Festival is all said and done, and we can’t express enough thanks to all of you who attended for making this festival a success on so many levels! Northside Festival, Brooklyn’s answer to SXSW, isn’t just music

You may have heard about the Brain-Cave Festival, a local music festival going on next weekend in Greenpoint

It may seem like quite a while ago at this point but the world’s best indie festival, South By Southwest, was just a few weeks past, March 12-16, and everyone in the music industry will continue to feel its repercussions all year, especially those from Brooklyn! From the bands that made it big to those that seemed to crash and burn, everyone who attended took away some great musical memories, including Bushwick Daily! We had three writers (Danielle Thompson, Ileana Little, and yours truly) hanging out in Austin, snapping instagrams, taking notes, and absorbing everything we heard

Sometimes by the time the end of the week rolls around, you want to get it

If you’re one of the 200,000 people to descend upon Austin’s city limits to partake in SXSW (and you know how to do it right now), and you want to see some of your favorite Brooklyn/Bushwick bands, you can do so at one of two places – at an official showcase (where festival badges/wristbands ARE required) or at one of the many free shows they will be playing next week
