As you may know, Bushwick Daily is heading down to SXSW! We’ve already filled you in on our 10 Bands That Will Break Big at the festival this year, provided a how-to guide for fans flocking to Austin, and even put together some  festival fashion recommendations! We won’t feel too far from home in the Lone Star State since we’ll be in the good company; tons of great Bushwick bands will be present, playing their hearts out all across town

This week the contemporary New York art world glitterati flocks to Miami, and Bushwick is in perfect step

CMJ has come and gone in a fury of five booze-fueled days

A few days ago we posted about the arrival of arguably the world’ most popular “indie” band to our neighborhood

For those of you who need a drink after work (or simply want one), we bring you a list of five fantastic happy hours in the neighborhood to make you even happier to come back home after work!

We’ve always raved about the times we’ve had thanks to Brooklyn-based underground party organization, BangOn! On New Years, they filled a warehouse with a carousel ride, glow art installations, and a DJ set from Yeasayer, and more recently they hosted the 3-D festival which was mind-bogglingly trippy

A little further out and a quick hop to the JMZ line, and the available nightlife starts to expand beyond the typical Brooklyn dive bars
