Enchantment Under the Sea Dance Party at Videology Bar and Cinema, Saturday, February 13th from 4pm-4am.

Is “Enchantment Under the Sea” the quintessential school dance theme? We think yes. Here is your opportunity to have some good old-fashioned Valentine’s day fun without sacrificing the adult party features you’ve come to know and love: Reyka is the vodka sponsor, Sixpoint is the beer sponsor, and you get both a rock outfit covering the hits of the ’50s and, a little later on, videology’s house DJ spinning some more modern tunes. Costumes are encouraged. Videology is at 308 Bedford Ave, off of the Bedford Ave stop on the L; Tickets are $20, and you can get them here, and you can RSVP on Facebook. Have fun, but maybe leave your hoverboards at home.

And in case you hadn’t noticed, BD has had your v-day needs in mind all week long!

We rounded up the best date options that local businesses have to offer

We surveyed the music scene and selected some choice shows for you,

We made sure you got your invitation to the launch of our very first combination lingerie and sneaker shop

We reminded you about annual, seasonal favorite event, the Bushwick Love Party.

We presented Weekend with Bernie, where you can to check out some wild local Bernie Sanders fan art and score some free condoms (we hear politics can really work some people up).

And we give you the lowdown on Sunnyvale Brooklyn, where you can knock back some very potent mystery cocktails, if you need some liquid courage to seal the valentine deal.
