Enjoy Some Not-So-Scary Halloween Treats at This All-Vegan Pop Up and Puppy Costume Contest

Haymaker’s Corner Store, East Williamsburg’s vegan grocer, is getting in the Halloween spirit with a pop-up shop called Spooky’s Corner for one day only on Saturday, October 30.

In addition to the now ubiquitous Halloween costume contest for your pups, the pop-up will also feature delicious treats from local favorite vegan vendors, including Brooklyn Whiskers and Screamer’s Pizza.

Donations collected at the free event will go to the Tamerlaine Farms Animal Sanctuary in Montague, New Jersey. The sanctuary is home to over 110 animals including chickens, turkeys, pigs, and goats.

So even if you don’t have a fuzzy friend to dress up for the contest, swing by to support the care of other rescued creatures and try your hand at living that cruelty-free lifestyle.

The event is all ages and runs from 12 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 30.
