We should really be pros right now with handling the L train’s constant debacles – but for some reason the lovely L always manages to really get under our skin. Now between “freezing temperatures” and “morning commutes” you can add “no L trains between Lorimer St and Myrtle-Wyckoff Aves late weeknights, 11:45PM-5AM” to your list of daily annoyances.
That’s right, unfortunately late nights (11:45PM to 5AM, Mon – Fri) the L train will not run between Lorimer St and Myrtle-Wyckoff Aves. It will instead just run in two sections every 20 minutes: between Rockaway Parkway and Myrtle-Wyckoff Aves and between 8th Ave and Lorimer St. Now please remember the above so you don’t get stranded at 1AM on a Tuesday night off the L Lorimer stop contemplating whether you should attempt to wait for the shuttle bus or pay for an Uber.
There will be *free* shuttle buses between Lorimer station and Myrtle-Wyckoff station but just in case you are stuck in a pickle, with no shuttle bus in sight and need to get back towards Bushwick ASAP try one of the city buses (B48 with transfer to the B60, B54, etc.)!
