Yesterday, Brooklyn Fire Proof posted on their Tumblr that Kanye West filmed a promo for his new LP, Yeezus, on their Stage A.

According to Brooklyn Fire Proof, Kanye’s film was based on “American Psycho,” and also starred members of the extended Kardashian clan, Jonathan Cheban and Scott Disick. This was also confirmed to us by a bartender of Brooklyn Fire Proof East Cafe who added she couldn’t care less about this “egotistical” rap star. According to In Touch, Kanye shot the video last weekend.

Saying we’ve got a music crush on this band is a massive understatement. Chicago’s Secret Colours is a brand of psychedelic rock that’s equally sexy and zen. This is the music you do work to, hang out to, work out to, chill out to, make love to. Could there really be one band to fill every nook and cranny of our day-to-day musical desires? If you like pretending you’re in the ’60s, we say yes. Read on for a Spotify playlist, video, and photos from their hazy performance at Cake Shop.

When you first listen to Sensual Harassment, one might think they came from the Cosmos. Put together with analogue Star Dust, synths, and mirror balls, meeting Sensual Harassment means a more tethered humble experience.

Bushwick Daily made contact of the music kind at the very hip Wythe Hotel bar recently. “We’ve never been here before,” lead singer Todd Thomas says as he scopes the bar with wide eyes in amazement. “Everyone is so nice,” agreed Mike Sherburn. “We feel we’re going to get kicked out,” they both said at various points, which actually soon manifested into reality. Alien mind trickery, or just good ol’ North Carolina boys who like to make noise?
