Guacuco is undoubtedly a neighborhood favorite for both amazing arepas, hot dogs, and wings. And even if you haven’t been lucky enough to try one of their amazing Venezuelan dishes, you’ve definitely seen their unmistakable storefronts on Irving Avenue, as well as Starr Street.

Recently, Guacuco’s owner Leonardo Molina decided to expand to Throop Avenue in Bed-Stuy. According to DNAinfo, the new Bed-Stuy location is 1,500 square feet—twice as large as Guacuco’s Irving Avenue spot—and will seat over 50 people.

“The Bed-Stuy location is not open yet, but it’s coming very soon,” a representative from Guacuco tells Bushwick Daily. “We’ve had to rebrand since we opened three locations. We’re now Guacuco Irving, Guacuco Starr and Guacuco Throop.”

Guacuco will also expand the restaurant’s drink menu to its new Throop digs. In addition to beer and wine, margaritas, sangria, and other cocktails will be up for grabs at the new spot.

The new Guacuco will be located at 360 Throop Ave. conveniently located half a block away from a B38 bus stop.
