Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced a 97-count indictment on Tuesday against members of Blitz Gang 4, a Bloods-affiliated crew that prosecutors say waged a two-year shooting war across Southeast Queens that left three people wounded and one man paralyzed. The case was first reported by the New York Post, which obtained video of one of the shootings.
The gang, known as BG4, operates out of the Baisley Park Houses in South Jamaica, according to Katz. Prosecutors allege the violence started after a BG4 member fatally shot 17-year-old Akim Cisse in September 2024. In the months that followed, prosecutors say, BG4 carried out a string of shootings and a stabbing aimed at three rival crews: the MacBallers, the Floss Money Ballers and 5th Clocc, an affiliate of the Crips.
The number Katz put on it is 11 shootings over two years.
“As alleged, the wanton violence between members of Blitz Gang 4 and Floss Money Ballers has terrorized Southeast Queens communities for the past two years, putting countless innocent residents at risk,” Katz said at a news conference. “The streets of Queens will be safer this summer,” she added, crediting the arrests.
One of the incidents in the indictment was caught on camera in a Queens McDonald’s parking lot in March 2026. Prosecutors allege a 19-year-old BG4 member named Noah Thomas ordered a 15-year-old to open fire on a rival they had spotted, telling him to shoot or hand over the gun so Thomas could do it himself.
“Noah Thomas ordered a 15-year-old defendant to shoot the rival or hand him the gun himself, so he could do it, and the 15-year-old fired multiple rounds at the suspected rival,” Katz said. Prosecutors allege the same person who gave that order stayed on the scene afterward and pointed responding officers in the wrong direction. The McDonald’s shooting happened in Cambria Heights.
Prosecutors laid out other episodes from the alleged campaign. In December 2025, a group of gang members was recorded beating a rival outside the Queens Criminal Courthouse in broad daylight before one of them stabbed him, according to the indictment. In February, prosecutors say, there was a shooting outside a Sweet 16 party in Queens. The man left paralyzed was shot in the back inside a South Jamaica home, prosecutors said.
According to the indictment, members would travel into rival territory on missions to hunt opponents, and bragged about their motives in songs and videos posted to Instagram.
Katz called the takedown the second phase of a broader crackdown on gang violence in Southeast Queens. Her office charged BG4’s rivals, the Floss Money Ballers, roughly nine months ago.
Three suspects named in the indictment remain at large, the district attorney’s office said. The charges are allegations, and no one named in the indictment has been convicted.
