Winter is coming, but that doesn’t mean CSAs should go into hibernation. Bushwick residents can get CSA shares through the winter with a monthly pick up through Garden of Eve, an organic farm on Long Island. With two locations in Bushwick (one at DeKalb and Malcolm X Blvd and another on Troutman between Central and Wilson), the farm is making fresh produce available year round.

Both CSAs begin December 5, and will continue through May. The CSA share includes produce and fresh eggs for $330 ($55/month for 6 months). Along with an excellent selection of winter vegetables and eggs, Garden of Eve is offering bread, plant, meat and winter fruit shares as add-ons.
