I know there are public pools in Williamsburg…  I’ve heard there are awesome dumpster pools in Gowanus (and you should read this awesome, probably the most complete and perfect investigation-wise post on dumpster pools by Oriana from Brooklyn Spaces)…

… but what do we have in Bushwick?

* Author of this post is perfectly aware of all the ecological issues attached to this Bushwick habbit of opening of the hydrants, but cannot help herself but finds a hint of local charm in it, a nostalgia over the last year’s summer, and somehow is even reminded of her childhood and cinnamon rolls… *sight*
