This Saturday Get a Portrait of You Taken at Bizarre for a Good Cause

Okay, okay, we admit… At Bushwick Daily we’re kinda obsessed with the work of Bushwick (via Paris) resident, portrait photographer, Axel Dupeux. Not only we featured him several times here at the website, this guy recently took over our Instagram account and showed us how it is to live a dream life of a Bushwick freelancer. Oh, and let’s not forget that this gentleman regularly shoots for Wall Street Journal, Billboard, Adweek and Entrepreneur.

Well, this Saturday from 4 to 10PM, Axel Dupeux might take a portrait of you! With his buddy Justin Boykin, they will set up their photo booth over at Bizarre, and for a donation of $10 will make the magic happen. All the proceeds from the photo shoot will go to nKoso, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping children enrolled at quality schools in rural Ghana. You can donate either on the spot at Bizarre, or you can go to nKoso website directly and pick a specific student you wish to support, and just present a receipt of donation.

The Portait Party is an annual tradition, which began six year’s ago at Justin’s backyard. It has grown from 50 to 400 attendees, and this year is expected to be the most epic yet!
