The Martians are coming: Jared Polacek over at Hyperallergic takes a first look at Life On Mars, a new gallery at 56 Bogart that’s going to open on October 4th.

Joyce Chen at Buzz Buzz Home reports that Read Properties, the developers of the Rheingold Brewery site¬†who have been all over local news lately, have launched the teaser site for Colony 1209, another luxury apartment building that will feature a ’20s-inspired rec space with an indoor bocce court and a vintage pinball machine.

Good news for carnivores: Bowery Boogie is reporting that Tiberio Custom Meats is ditching its Lower East Side location at Sauce and heading out to Bushwick.
