Pearl’s to bring some amazing beach fun to Bushwick. (Image via Pearl’s Facebook)

Because it’s been a long, tough winter on all of us, Pearl’s Social and Billy Club, a fantastic local watering hole, decided to make the summer so much better for all of Bushwick! For only $6 per ride, you can now take The Bushwick Beach Bus to Rockaways (with stops at Fort Tilden and Ripper’s) starting this weekend at 10AM, and then a ride back to Bushwick from 3PM. And there is more awesome to this already sweet deal!

Come early and come hungry because Pearl’s have partnered with Strangeways, an amazing coffee (geek) shop across the street to provide you with some kickass cold brew coffee, green tea, as well as with Balthazar croissants and mini baguette sandwiches; Stan Cafecito will feed you delicious breakfast burritos served at until 2PM at Pearl’s. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your coolers to fill them up with beers from Pearl’s.

“We are working with our friend Leroy who owns the company Alexis Van Lines.  All of us at Pearl’s, have hired him for transport to various events around the tristate area over the years,” emailed us Betsy Maher, a co-owner of Pearl’s. “Leroy owns a fleet of over 75 vans and buses in NYC, and will send as many as we need for transport to the beach from Pearl’s,” Betsy continued.

Pearl’s is not selling tickets online just yet, but to make sure you get on a van, you are encouraged to send an email to  bushwickbeachbus AT gmail.com. Include your your full name, phone number, number in your party, day and time and you’ll receive an email confirmation.  Betsy told us that will be also weekdays buses for those of us with irregular schedules, but you have to be a group of eight to reserve a van.

I mean, this sounds like A LOT of fun. Pearl’s, you rock!

Buses go from Pearl’s (40 St Nicholas Avenue, corner Starr St.) from 10AM to Fort Tilden beach and to Ripper’s at 86th Street, Beach Rockaways. Send an email to bushwickbeachbus AT gmail.com to reserve a spot. Now, seriously show some love to The Bushwick Beach Bus and like them on Facebook.
