The work week ahead of us is short, but the events are huge. Like Busta Rhymes huge. The moon is waxing, which means that you should be very clear on your wishes because everything you desire will grow with the moon. The time is potent, so don’t waste your time with complaints or people who suck your blood, or just suck. Do what you’re meant to do; be who you’re meant to be. Also def go to the Bushwick Collective Block Party this Saturday.

TUESDAY: Tutu’s Tiki Tuesdays

7 p.m. – 1 a.m., Tutu’s, 25 Bogart St., East Williamsburg

Despite Memorial Day being the unofficial start of the summer, the weather hasn’t delivered so far. Go pretend that Bushwick is a Caribbean island tonight at Tutu’s Tiki Tuesdays. Expect exotic Tiki drinks with outrageous garnishes, something called Tutu’s PuPu platter, and episodes of Gilligan’s Island.

Wednesday: Soil Building & Potting Workshop

6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Tula House, 174 Bogart St #304, East Williamsburg

I will be super-candid with you right now: I am obsessed with Tula House and with the fact that somebody can take the art of growing plants to such a high level like these guys. This Wednesday, they will teach you how to build your own soil and pot for a plant. This includes breaking soil down into its elements and discussing the importance of matching your soil to your plant. You’ll go home with a newly potted plant and planter of your choice. A ticket is $95.
