A Free “Theatrical Pub Crawl” Will Bring Site Specific Street Theater to Bushwick

Wacky, delightful performance pieces are coming to a bar, park or even venue near you next week, Bushwick!

A free pop up theater festival called Pop!, which is produced by local theater company The Party Line, will take over five popular Bushwick locations starting on Friday, September 23rd and running through Sunday, September 25th.

Pieces representing a wide range of performance traditions are among the offerings. A shadow puppet dinner theater experience based on the life of French gastronome Grimod de La Reyniere will take place on Friday night at East Williamsburg speakeasy Hell Phone; later that same night, a Dolly Parton cover band will play a free show at Gold Sounds, also as part of the fest. Other performers will be announced on The Party Line’s website in the week leading up to the kick off of the festival.

In addition to Hell Phone and Gold Sounds, performances will be held at Maria Hernandez Park, Bushwick Public House, and Three Diamond Door.

For additional updates, follow The Party Line on Facebook and Instagram—and enjoy the show, Bushwick!
