MONDAY: BUSHWICK IMPROVISED MUSIC SERIES
7-12 p.m. at Bushwick Public House, 1288 Myrtle Ave.
Listen to some of New York’s finest Jazz musicians improvise avant-garde/ experimental jazz from 7 p.m. to 12 p.m.. This event is part of an ongoing series of improvised music curated by world renowned tenor saxophonist, Stephen Gauci.

TUESDAY: WEBoylesque Inaugural Show

Witness White Elephant Burlesque’s inaugural event at BIZARRE Bushwick. Hosted by Viktor Devonne and starring Johnny Panic.

WEDNESDAY: Exile: R Gamble / NK Badtz Maru
10 p.m.-4 a.m. at Bossa Nova Civic Club, 1271 Myrtle Ave.

THURSDAY: Vic and V’s RU PAUL Viewing Party
7:30-10:30 p.m. at BIZARRE Bushwick, 12 Jefferson St.
Madame Vivien V and Vic Sin team up to give the most circus filled, burlesque stuffed, dragtastic viewing party this side of the universe. Come see two queerdos who live together expose each others secrets and share their brassy, sassy opinions all in the name of entertainment. NO SUBJECT IS OFF LIMITS, but we’ll probably be talking a lot about RPDR because…duh.

FRIDAY: The Blacklist / KAMAU
8-11 p.m. at Secret Project Robot, 1186 Broadway.
Inspired by historical and highly politicized Black artists and the unjust, forced social and professional silencing of their careers, Maleek Washington’s The Blacklist is a mystery collaboration of working Black artists who reclaim the blacklist to be a haven for desirable and politicized collective production.
The immersive performance work is conceptually driven by Washington and actualized by artists Alexeya, ColemanCollective, Chet Gold, Matthew Perez, Antonio Brown, and Emma Pfaeffle. These artists are blindly paired to perform works that function as a thought-provoking dialogue across a fusion of artistic disciplines.
The night concludes with a set by rapper Kamau.
