This bar and restaurant is based off Cape Cod style “clam shacks” that specialize in fried seafood from Ipswich, Massachusettes. Expect fried whole belly clams and scallops, haddock & fries, and burgers balanced out with some healthier options such as grilled seafood and market veggie dishes. Upstairs and outside will hold the bar and restaurant while downstairs is a lounge dedicated to, live music, DJs and late-night nightlife.

3. Jupiter Disco – 1237 Flushing avenue

This soon-to -open bar is decorated in a sci-fi style that evokes memories of Alien or The Terminator: Think lots of neon lights and sophisticated sound systems. Owners Al Sotack and Maks Pazuniak have lots of cocktail experience and bonded over a mutual love of music and science fiction to create their ideal bar.

The team behind Mexican restaurants Mesa Coyoacan and Zona Rosa in Williamsburg will open a third restaurant in Bushwick. The Mexico City-born chef Ivan Garcia plans focus on authentic Mexican cuisine rooted in tradition. The dining room can also be transformed into an venue for events if desired.

The owners behind Brooklyn Cider House were inspired by the ciders they came across in Basque Country, Spain. They have a range of them from, bubbly, to dry, to sweet, to savory. All are made as naturally as possible with apples picked in Upstate New York. This Fall we will get a bar and tasting room for these handcrafted ciders.
