Pace University’s Small Business Development Center is offering free one-on-one business advising sessions to small business owners and entrepreneurs at satellite locations across Brooklyn, according to the center. The in-person sessions are meant to cover funding opportunities, business planning, marketing strategies and operational growth, the SBDC said.
In an email announcement, the center said it operates nine satellite locations and that advisers were scheduling sessions at several Brooklyn sites in February and March. The listed venues included the Brooklyn Public Library’s Grand Army Plaza branch, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce office at Industry City in Sunset Park, The Yard in Park Slope in partnership with the Park Slope Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District, and the Moore Street Market and Graham Avenue BID in East Williamsburg, according to the announcement. The center said additional sessions were set at the district offices of Assemblymember Brian Cunningham in Crown Heights and Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn in Flatbush.
The Pace SBDC said the counseling is offered at no cost and covers a range of business topics. To schedule a session, the center said prospective clients should complete its counseling request form and note their desired location, or contact the center by email through its website. The announcement was sent by Andrew Flamm, the center’s regional director.
