A longtime Ridgewood watering hole was recently sold for over $2 million.

The Cozy Corner, a bar and hangout for locals on the corner of 60th Street and 70th Avenue in the neighborhood’s historical district, was sold on August 15 according to a report in QNS

Evergreen Realty & Investments brokered the deal for $2,075,000. A spokesperson from the realty group said that the owner of the location sold because he was ready to retire.

The entire three floor building was for sale as well, not just the small business on the ground floor.

The report in QNS highlighted that the new owner wants to keep The Cozy Corner open– but there will be a few changes to the business’ appearance.
