Cops need help to find a wannabe-robbing duo that attempted a knifepoint heist in Ridgewood.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, two men approached a 38-year-old sitting in his parked car in front of 1722 George St. and tried to rob him with a knife, police said.

The perps approached the driver-side window and brandished a blade, but were unsuccessful in robbing their victim. The duo then took off in an unknown direction without any loot. The victim refused medical attention for the small cut he got on the finger, cops said.

Surveillance photos of the suspects snapped at 1002 Seneca Ave. show two heavily-built Hispanic men wearing dark jackets, light-colored jeans, and black boots.
