Bed Stuy Beer Works will close its current location at 409 Willoughby Ave as of Jan. 5 and open in a new location in Bed Stuy. But they’re also opening a second location in Bushwick, according to their website. While a location hasn’t been made public, we can’t say we’re not excited! While no longer called a distributor, the brewer will sell and serve alcohol on the premises, and they’re planning food too.

Opened in 2013, Bed Stuy Beer Works has been a craft beer staple in the borough, boasting 139 types of bottled beer, 21 types of canned beer, and 43 types of kegged beer. Craft beers include Stone Arrogant Bastard with Centennial, several Abita beers including Amber and Purple Haze, as well as a variety of Founders including the All Day IPA.  In 2014, they started delivering beer by bike, much to locals’ enjoyment.
