So friends, you will be happy to hear that you can now take your lady/gentlemen ice skating in McCarren Park. The smart folks over in Greenpoint decided to freeze the water in the pool and the ice rink opens tonight!
McCarren Rink will will be open today through Saturday, January 4, 2014, seven days per week from 11AM-10PM. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, and $4 for kids under 12. Skate rentals are $5.
McCarren Rink is currently the only ice skating rink in North Brooklyn, and with 7,200 square feet of skating area it can accommodate more than 300 people! So put your skates on, friends, and see you tonight!
