No, seriously. Do you have a health insurance?

If you’re a freelancer or an artist, the likelihood is that you either don’t or you are underinsured. Lucky for us, Brooklyn Arts Council is starting a series of seminars on healthcare, right here in Bushwick. They are promising to tell us all about the upcoming healthcare reforms and its effects on freelancers, as well how to apply for low-cost health care coverage. As guests, they have invited  The Actors FundFreelancer’s Union and Woodhull Hospital’s Artist Access program to discuss the options, and there will be a Q&A.

Just RSVP here, and see you on Wednesday, July 17, 5:30-7:30PM, at Brooklyn Public Library, DeKalb Branch 790 Bushwick Ave. at DeKalb Ave., Brooklyn.
