Hailing from Washington, DC, folk/pop-punk artist Spoonboy is kicking off a summer tour in promotion of 3 split EP’s that he is digitally releasing today! Go get em! On Saturday he will be playing with  and The Goodbye Party (of ), both bands on splits with him. Today, in Manhattan he will also be playing an acoustic show at  with , Shark Shark (members of Defiance Ohio and Nana Grizol) and. Definitely go to at least one of these shows so you don’t miss out on Spoonboy’s poignant lyrics and catchy hooks!

Remember when the Girls took to Bushwick to rage out in a warehouse and (accidentally) smoke crack? Well, that’s not the route we recommend you go this weeken–maybe instead grab a 5-hour energy to get your fix as you hop around art shows by day and hit the rock and roll by night! Not all these shows are tied in with Bushwick Open Studios, but they will all be mega-fun and nothing like the gif above (hopefully?). So be sure to grab a giant BOS guide, the pick up the Bushwick Daily NO BS BOS guide, and get stoked for some great music, fantastic art and warm weather to enjoy it in!
