#10 Prism House, TOPS, James K, Girls In Uniform @ Shea Stadium (SUN 8PM, $8)

Oooh girl get your glitch pop on. Brooklyn’s own Prism House will be putting it down this Sunday night.

#9 Jessie Evans, Otto Nervous @ House of Screwball (FRI 9PM, FREE)

This house-style venue (located at 142 Stockholm Street #401) will be raging this Friday, featuring performers all the way from Berlin!



#8 Ceremony, White Lung, Perfect Pussy, Sleepies @ NYU’s E&L Auditorium (THURS 8PM, $5/Free for NYU Students)

If you’re a punk (or an NYU student!!) this show has probably been on your radar for some time now. Featuring a bill of up-and-comers in the punk and hardcore scene and a crowd of rowdy youngsters, this show won’t disappoint.

#7 A Hip Hop Christmas Pageant with Lilly Wolf and Rekstizzy @ Secret loft (SAT 9PM, $10)

This secret loft party (aka house party at Mckibben lofts) will feature “unlimited kegs,” dancing, and live performances. Something tells us it’s gonna be a sloppy good ol’ time.

#5 French Horn Rebellion, Savoir Adore, Rush Midnight @ Music Hall of Williamsburg (FRI 9PM, $12)

If you, like, just want to DANCE, this is the show for you. Smooth electronic vibes come your way from the sexy Rush Midnight, dance with the fantasy pop of Savoir Adore, then get your brass on during French Horn Rebellion’s set.

We’re really into venue and nonprofit space Fort Useless…in fact, visiting the space is on our December to do list! You should see what the fun, friendly fuss is all about. Head over for this (potentially free?) show and Record Release Party featuring local celebs Backwords and more! It’s located at 36 Ditmars in Bushwick.

#1 Slowdance, Grand Resort, Las Rosas @ Radio Bushwick (SAT 9PM, FREE)

This venue’s best offering yet! Three excellent Brooklyn rock bands doing their thing in the brand spanking new awesomeness that is Radio Bushwick. The bill’s highlight?
