Continuing to keep their promise of creating a space that isn’t just for beer drinkers, founders Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsoe, and his wife and business partner Maria Jarnit-Bjergsoe have introduced a new café space located within the Evil Twin Brewing NYC greenhouse taproom.
The café inserted along the greenhouse taproom bar is outfitted with reclaimed marble and a blackened steel frame adding to the clean yet modern aesthetic of the brewery. Evil Twin which opened in October, has always looked for ways to experiment and collaborate locally and now with the help of Sey Coffee roasters, they can do just that.
Based out of Bushwick, Sey Coffee, micro-roasters focuses on the finest raw coffees and the relationships with those who produce them. Each of their coffees represents a relationship with individuals who skillfully oversee practices which result in the highest end product. Through this partnership, Evil Twin Coffee will be able to provide and array of coffee drinks using rotational and seasonal coffees sourced by Sey and will work closely with them to create a new and unique blend that will be exclusively available to the Brewery.
If you’re not a coffee person, no worries; you can still enjoy teas provided by In Pursuit of Tea and hot chocolate made with Cocoa sourced from Africa through Kokoa Kamila with Mast Brothers Chocolate. Guests can also enjoy a variety of locally sourced and delivered fresh daily pastries from neighborhood favorite L’imprimerie.
Evil Twin Coffee will be open 7 days a week -Monday through Friday 7am-3pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am-3pm.
