An all-Bushwick wave of celebration followed the opening of the first Bushwick bookstore, Molasses. Just two weeks later, another store with used books popped out in our beloved pigeon town. Human Relations is located on Flushing Ave and is run by the same book-loving folk as the atmospheric Book Thug Nation in Williamsburg. I’m tempted to say that good things come in pairs and so Bushwick, the former land of eternal bookstore winter, has turned into the land of lovely bookstore spring.
