It’s officially fall! Though the new season officially started last month, Bushwick is finally getting the crisp fall weather that we’ve been waiting for.

Hexing Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh at Catland
Saturday October 20, 2018 at 7 p.m.
Brett Kavanaugh dominated headlines throughout the end of September and beginning of October. He was accused of sexual assault by several women including Christine Blasey Ford and after a short FBI investigation, was sworn into the Supreme Court. Local witches are inviting others who want to fight against rape culture to join them in hexing Kavanaugh and others who have protected those accused of sexual misconduct. Tickets cost $10 and half of proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood and the Ali Forney Center.
The Ridgewood Asylum Haunted House at The Deep End
October 18th to November 1st, Tuesday – Sunday 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Who says you need to go to Manhattan or further out into Brooklyn to have a personal fright fest? Look no further than Ridgwood because The Deep End is holding it’s second ever haunted house. If you love all things spooky and asylum themed,it’s right here in the neighborhood. Enter if you dare!
Dawgtoberfest at Bridge and Tunnel Brewery
Saturday October 20, 2018 at 2 p.m.
If you’re not the biggest fan of scares, but still want to feel the Halloween spirit… give this event a go. Dress up pups with adorable costumes and carve pumpkins for a good cause. Proceeds will to to Bobi and the Strays, an organization that helps animals find forever homes.
