This week children went back to school (yay!), we voted in the primaries for Mayoral candidates of this great city (hey!), honored the sad anniversary of 9/11 (nay), some of us will be fasting for Yom Kippur (oy vey!), and some are anxiously waiting for the next Breaking Bad episode after that very intense episode (amirite?)

Holy Smokes! Music & Arts Festival is all said and done, and we can't express enough thanks to all of you who attended for making this festival a success on so many levels! Holy Smokes! took place last Sunday at the co-op art/music space Silent Barn and featured over 20 outstanding rock/blues/reggae/r&b bands, our favorites being Cosmonaut, Las Rosas, Walking Shapes, Nicky Egan, Sylvana Joyce & The Moment, 6th Degree, The Can't Tells, Food Will Win The War, Ellis Ashbrook, The Hollows, The Bottom Dollars, and MORE
