The name’s Bond…Bond Bushwick.
Bond Collective, a coworking hub with posh stations across Manhattan, released detailed images today of its newest location, Bond Bushwick, which is set to open in spring 2018.
While the collective may be Bond in name only, its new spot at 839 Broadway could very well pass as the lovechild of 007’s gadget-inventor and your modern Manhattanite.
BC focuses on hospitality and boasts that the new workspace will be “versatile” and “all-in-one,” replete with private offices, outdoor terraces, a subterranean yoga studio, meditation room, and production studio for creatives in the neighboring area.
The pricing chart for the Bushwick site will be similar to BC’s Gowanus location. A “dedicated desk” in an open-plan space will cost $450 per month, and a private office is exactly $709. That includes unlimited coffee and beer.
To get a feel for the price difference, take a look at Brooklyn Desks on Wyckoff Avenue, just over a mile away. Workaholics there can enjoy unlimited 24/7 coworking space for $250 per month and a private office for $425. There’s free coffee, but no booze.
Designed by Bond Collective’s Director of Design Elide Grabowski and Christian Lahoude Studio, Bond Bushwick employs playful sherbet hues in contrast with the concrete and mixed metal finish of the building. The location “embraces” the characteristics of the existing brick building, while mixing old with new.
“Bushwick has been on our radar for a long time,” said BC’s CEO Shlomo Silber. “After hearing feedback from a number of members having to commute into Manhattan from Queens and Brooklyn, we wanted to provide them with a convenient location and great space where they are able to be productive.”
Bond Bushwick will be the latest addition to the neighborhood’s coworking spaces, including 100 Bogart, 199 Cook, and Bklyn Commons.
