The Shop Brooklyn in Bushwick Closes After Only 13 Months

The Shop Brooklyn, one of Bushwick’s few BBQ joints, is calling it quits after barely a year in business at its Starr Street location. The cavernous restaurant offered food, live music, and miscellaneous weekly events in a grungy-by-design space.

An employee confirmed that the restaurant/bar/venue has been closed since Sunday and will be closed indefinitely.

It looks like you missed out on that final rib here. Add that to the list of treats we’ll never taste again along with the brunch at Tandem and the pork chop at Dear Bushwick.
