Nitehawk Cinema’s third annual all-night Halloween screening A NITE TO DISMEMBER is back!
Get your horror movie fix with 5 films starting at midnight on Oct. 31/Nov. 1. Nitehawk Cinema will screen five classic movies from the past fifty years “that punctuated each decade like a knife to the heart: Poltergeist (1980s), House on Haunted Hill (1960s), Bay of Blood (1970s), and Scream (1990s).” They’ll also be showing a surprise horror release right in the middle.
$50 will get you not only entrance to all five films, but also Nitehawk breakfast (eggs and tots), cereal bar courtesy of POST Cereal, coffee from Fazenda Coffee, a specialty cocktail with Owl’s Brew and sweets from neighbor SweetHaus. Guests will also receive a special “survival” gift bag that, among other treats, includes a discounted fare from Uber.
As always with Nitehawk’s halloween screening, there will be a costume contest and trivia (with prizes) and horror short films. So come dressed as your finest horror film character or just a sheet with two holes cut out – cause this will be a night to dismember (I mean, remember).
A Nite to Dismember. Saturday Oct. 31 and Sunday November 1 midnight – 8 am. Nitehawk Cinema, 136 Metropolitan Ave., Williamsburg. $50.
