Anyone who’s explored Bushwick has probably eaten at Sea Wolf and enjoyed its delicious “land and sea” menu (I know I have). The restaurant is located in the heart of the Bushwick Collective and is visited daily by locals and art loving visitors alike.

Thankfully, those romping around Williamsburg will have a chance to visit an extension of the eatery in the future. That’s right: Sea Wolf is expanding, y’all — and it’s staying in Brooklyn.

The new Sea Wolf will be located at 420 Kent, which is a brand spankin’ new waterfront development in Williamsburg. It’ll be open in March 2019 — just in time for spring. Dan Cipriani the owner of Sea Wolf, talked to Bushwick Daily about the upcoming expansion.

“Sea Wolf has become a beloved Bushwick neighborhood spot over the years — we get customers coming in from all over New York City and even international travelers,” Cipriani said. “I’m really proud of the Sea Wolf menu, team, service, ambiance and how it’s become a go-to spot for the Bushwick community, and I’m excited to bring it to another Brooklyn neighborhood and solidify its relationship to the NYC waters we enjoy so much.”

Water was a key factor in the restaurant’s expansion — and based off the menu, it’s understandable.

“The development was looking for a great neighborhood spot to be a part of this new waterfront community,” he said, “I was equally excited about the opportunity to team up with them. I think the residents as well as visitors to the area will love Sea Wolf.”

The new Sea Wolf in Williamsburg will be located on the ground level of 420 Kent, meaning restaurant goers will have a view of Manhattan, three bridges and, of course, the water (talk about Insta-worthy). According to Cipriani, the new restaurant will also be close to the subway and the ferry — so commuters can stop by and enjoy a bite after work.

The new Sea Wolf will offer new treats for visitors as early at 7 a.m. It plans on opening a to-go version of the restaurant in the same building, which will be called Snow Wolf. Cipriani said it’ll sell “eats, treats and coffee” seven days a week. If you’re someone who travels in that area, stop by for a cup of joe when the to-go service opens.

As far as the Sea Wolf menu goes, not much will be changing. Cipriani said that  “the menu will be consistent with what guests have come to expect.”

Like always, visitors will get to explore a menu that features both sea and land options, such as fish and chips, a raw oyster bar, jerk chicken, or barbeque ribs. Not to mention, the brunch at Sea Wolf is really freaking good.

Before the Williamsburg location opens, visit Sea Wolf in Bushwick at 19 Wyckoff Ave (right off the Jefferson L subway stop). That way, you can decide what to order once the new restaurant opens its doors. While you’re there, check out The Bushwick Collective. There’s no ocean involved, but the views will definitely get your creative juices flowing.
