Happy hour, that storied institution and haven for cash-strapped and budget-conscious alcohol imbibers everywhere. Every bar has one, and everybody has their favorite.

We put out a call for your favorites in the Bushwick-East Williamsburg-Ridgewood area last month, and last week you voted. Those votes have been tallied and Bushwick’s Best Happy Hour, by a considerable margin, is…

Fine Time!

“We were thrilled to be nominated for Bushwick Daily’s Best Happy Hour in the Neighborhood poll because we were included in the company of so many of our favorite local spots,” said Fine Time owner Casey Spindler

One of Bushwick’s youngest bars opened just this past August at 84 Central Ave., Fine Time is clearly destined for big things. Their happy hour special, held seven days a week from 6-8 p.m., is $1 off of any drink and $2 off of frozen drinks, painkillers — the name of a cocktail, not an actual pill —  and eight different margarita flavors. And, as always, each drink order comes with a free hotdog or popcorn.

“As a new bar it feels great to be embraced by the Bushwick community,” said Spindler. “My partners and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to raise a glass. Cheers!”
