Attend a Town Hall Meeting Tomorrow Regarding the Planned 3-Year Long L Train Repairs

Canarsie tunnel between Manhattan and Brooklyn needs extensive repairs, which are currently projected to take three years. As a result the L train between Bedford Ave and First Ave will simply be non-existent during that time. This news took media by storm and left North Brooklyn residents employed in Manhattan wondering about their commutes, and more seriously North Brooklyn business owners about their livelihoods.

As a result a group of engaged stakeholders, community organizations, businesses, and concerned citizens has been formed dubbing itself The L Train Coalition. The first Town Hall meeting organized by The L Train Coalition will be held tomorrow, Thursday January 28 at 11AM at Brooklyn Bowl (61 Wythe Ave, Williamsburg).

If you’re available and passionately indignant about the issue, please attend the meeting and voice your concerns.
