The Tri-State Transportation Campaign is preparing to host an event called “The Art of Mobility,” billing it as an exploration of where art and transportation intersect, according to the advocacy organization.

The campaign said the gathering is meant to advance its broader mission. The organization, which is dedicated to transforming transportation across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, is based at 231 West 29th Street, Suite 608, in Manhattan.

The event is a ticketed fundraiser scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 123 West 18th Street, in Manhattan, with tickets required and available for purchase through the organization. As part of the event, the campaign said it will open an “Art of Mobility” exhibition featuring a special showcase by the New York City Department of Transportation’s Art Program. The agency’s NYC DOT Art program partners with community-based and nonprofit organizations and professional artists to present temporary public art on city DOT property throughout the five boroughs, and has produced more than 475 temporary artworks citywide since 2008.

The Tri-State Transportation Campaign said the exhibition will draw on the work of participating artists and organizations, though it did not specify in its announcements which artists would be featured. The campaign, which advocates for transportation and land-use policy across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, sent the announcements from its events office on May 14.
