Yo dudes, we got whiskey tastings, glow parties, and abortion documentaries on deck. What you need?

Check out our events roundup of the freshest fun happening this week around your fave nabe.

Tuesday: Movie Night

8:30 p.m.-12 a.m. at Sunrise/Sunset, 351 Evergreen Ave.

Get out those tissues, Bushwick, because tonight you can watch “Sleepless In Seattle” and “When Harry Met Sally” at Sunrise/Sunset! Movie screenings are in an intimate bar setting with a dinner menu available until 11 p.m. Cocktails, beer on tap, a craft spirits selection, and biodynamic wines are available to drown blissful sorrows while you watch these classic romantic comedies.

Wednesday: Last of the Bohemians

8-11:30 p.m. at The Footlight, 465 Seneca Ave., Ridgewood

Yep, you read that right. “Last of the Bohemians” is never-before-seen performance art from creative people (that’s all we know). And you can perform, too! Come early to sign up if you’d like to show off that new ‘stache or give your man bun a last hurrah before retirement.

Free Whiskey Tasting

6:30-8:30 p.m. at Irving Bottle Wine Shop, 155 Irving Ave.

You read that right, also. It’s whiskey — not wine — that you will taste tonight at Irving Bottle. Try some awesome booze from Little Wolf Whiskey and meats and cheeses from Twin Sun Deli.

✏️ Thursday: Instagram Drink and Draw

7-11 p.m. at KCBC Taproom, 381 Troutman St.

Sketch your favorite Instagram posts of the past year as a *insert adjective* reflection towards the future. Find an insta pic that represents your 2018 and bring it to life.

Saturday: Beach on The Moon

7 p.m.-1 a.m. at The Active Space, 566 Johnson Ave.

Enter a new, glowing, magical world to escape the winter. This is a glow-in-the-dark “beach on the moon” where you can take a siesta, meditate, make art, or just enjoy the vibe. You can even bring a bathing suit and jump into the installation! Just make sure to review our recent drink and drug survey before you go, Bushwick.

Sunday: Film Screening & Art Show

2-6 p.m. at Mayday Space, 176 St Nicholas Ave.

Mayday, mayday! We’re going down and we need an abortion!

In honor of the 45th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, check out this screening of “Vessel,” a documentary about the radical women on waves who provide abortions in international waters. Refreshments and light snacks will be served, and there will also be an art show after the screening. Tickets are priced on a sliding scale and all proceeds will be donated to the New York Abortion Access Fund.
