A new tour of Bushwick will show you around one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city and give you street art, feed you candy, and get you drunk — for $50 a pop.

The ABCs of Bushwick Tour will become a weekly two-mile jaunt across the neighborhood starting in January. Licensed guide Cherie Davis will lead tourists around Bushwick, visiting chocolate and candy shops, local breweries, and viewing the street art in the area of Troutman Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. The tour will finish at a local bar.

“I am also attempting to get an additional chocolate shop in the mix,” Davis told Bushwick Daily. “The bars will change based on schedules, selection and new venues opening.”

Davis said she has already given the new tour two trial runs with great success.

“I gave it to local tour guides for input and people visiting from [North] Carolina who had visited their grandparents in Bushwick during the 70s. They were amazed at how much had changed,” Davis said.

The excursions through Bushwick will be held on Thursdays at 3 p.m., last about three hours, and cost $50 per person. Nobody under 21 can take the tour. Sorry kids!

The tour is not the first of its kind in Bushwick, where street art tours have been popular amongst tourists for many years.
