Gather around, Bushwick film buffs! The most glamorous of weeks in a Bushwick year has arrived. Bushwick Film Festival starts this Thursday, and celebrates its 10th anniversary. The best part? We have a bunch of free tickets to give away!
Bushwick Daily has been a proud media sponsor to BFF for many years now and this year is no exception. You can look forward to four days of an incredible lineup of films, panels, parties, art, and culture. Make sure you check out their full schedule here. This year’s jury even includes a bunch of Oscar winners and nominees!
The festival kicks off this Thursday, Oct. 12, at House of Yes with a red carpet event and a screening of “In Case of Emergency” (directed by Stephanie Sparks), which is described as “Broad City” meets Pedro Almodovar. (Sounds like pure perfection, if you ask us!)
The festival will be full of film fun held at various venues across Bushwick, such as Syndicated, LightSpace Studios, Chemistry Creative, but also The Rookery or Montana’s Trail House.
In our raffle you can win two Bushwick Community Passes, each is valued at $50, and two Weekend Passes, each is valued at $100. The passes grant access to all film screenings, all panels, and selected special events. We are also giving away two individual tickets to any screening (except for opening night).
If you win, you will be notified on Thursday morning, so please clear up your schedule to make the most of the BFF weekend!
