Creepiest ’80s Night? Lot45 Is Throwing a Huge “Stranger Things” Pre-Halloween Party

Is there a better way to get in the mood for Halloween than a huge party celebrating the most satisfyingly creepy show of the year?

On Friday, October 21, Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23, the public can pregame Halloweekend at Bushwick’s vast, beautiful bar and lounge Lot45, which is preparing to put on the definitive “Stranger Things” party, complete with an ’80s dance party, D&D, waffles, a BMX giveaway, trivia and a costume contest.

Tickets for the event start at $20, and a percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit two nonprofit organizations: Variety the Children’s Charity of New York, which funds grassroots arts education initiatives and other groups that serve children in New York’s least privileged communities, and the Philadelphia sexual assault crisis center Women Organized Against Rape.

At publication time, more than 1,000 people are listed as attending on the party’s Facebook page. Lot45’s capacity is a fraction of number, so now would be the time to buy your ticket.

See you there, Bushwick!

The party was first written about Thursday by TimeOut New York.
