Join Bushwick Daily, SweetWater Brewing Company, Reheated Spaghetti, and the Waterkeeper Alliance for two days of surf-worthy tunes and crisp beers. The Save the Surfer Fest happening from 2-6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday will have you ringing in the first weekend of August right.

Local rockers, The Teen Age, will headline on Saturday, and the decidedly more chill Dead Leaf Echo will round out the afternoon on Sunday. All eight bands evoke that warm sand in your toes feeling while the sun glistens off rolling waves.

Professionals will be on hand to help you turn that surfing dream into a surfing reality. Look for paddle boarding, surfing, and kayaking demos. With water temperatures hovering around 75 degrees, you won’t even need a wet suit.

One dollar from every SweetWater beer purchased will go straight to the Waterkeeper Alliance, an organization focused on protecting worldwide access to clean water founded by Robert Kennedy.

Click below, and like our Facebook page in order to be entered into a giveaway for one of six pairs of free roundtrip rides on the NYC Beach Bus! We’ll send you a voucher, so you and a friend can use it for this weekend’s festivities or whenever the beach mood strikes you.

So hop on that beach bus and meet Bushwick Daily at Riis Park yet again for a weekend of great music and sun.
