Brooklyn quartet Parquet Courts have fulfilled their destiny as a band to watch. Last Friday, they played a sold out show at Webster Hall, thrashing through a set filled with frenzied guitar-ing and a healthy dose of witty banter. Promoting their new (and seriously acclaimed) record, Human Performance, they lit the crowd up with an urgency all too rare in the contemporary indie/alt rock game. Check out our photos from the show below, and keep on eye out for them next time you’re walking through Ridgewood, Queens.
