Don’t drag yourself all the way to Coney Island for an eating contest when there’s one you can attend and even enter here in Bushwick.
Dromedary Bar, an “urban tiki” watering hole is holding it’s second hamburger eating contest this Fourth of July. It’s sponsored by San Francisco based Ballast Point Brewery.
Instead of chowing down on a pile until time is up, eaters will have to survive three rounds of burgers. They’ll eat four single patty burgers in the first round, two burgers with two beef patties in them during the second round and a mega burger during the third.
Contestants will also have to shotgun a beer in between each round.
It sounds tough, but the first place winner gets a cash prize of $200. The second place receives $100 and a third place winner walks away with $50.
