A Bystander Was Shot by Two Gunmen Riding Bikes Down Myrtle Avenue in Bushwick

Two bike-riding bandits shot a woman as they pedaled along Myrtle Avenue in Bushwick on Wednesday afternoon, cops said.

According to police, the 43-year-old female victim was shot once in the back while walking past the Azul Tequila restaurant at 1429 Myrtle Ave. at 4:24 p.m. on March 1.

The male shooters fled the scene in an unknown direction on their bikes.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the shooting, and EMS units transported the victim to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

Law enforcement agents do not believe the unidentified woman was the intended target of the shooting.

Both shooters are still at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
