Beauty junkies, take note! A new beauty and wellness spa called Wild Oleander is set to open at 222 Varet St. in early May. The beauty bar will offer mani/pedis, waxing, facials, and hair services in a relaxing, “1970s tropical setting.”
In addition to beauty services, the shop will sell 1970s vintage fashion, atmospheric home accessories such as scented candles, “healing tools,” and beauty supplies like nail polish.
At this time, the only concept beauty bar in the neighborhood is Local Honey off the Jefferson stop. A brand new spot off the Morgan L will be a very welcome addition to the area.
