We’ve got breweries, bars, and restaurants up to our eyeballs in Bushwick, but what we don’t have yet is a cidery dedicated to the fine art of making nature’s most delicious fruit into nature’s most delicious alcoholic fruit beverage.

Brooklyn Cider House has been teasing an opening on the triangular corner of Flushing Avenue and Melrose Street for years, but they are finally ramping up their efforts to get the space finished and ready for our fall drinking. While no official date has bene announced, the cidery announced hiring plans on Instagram and told one fan in the comments that mid-October was the target date.

Secret NYC reports that the bar/restaurant will have communal seating and food meant to pair with any of their seven hard ciders, made mostly from apples.

Cider enthusiasts have likely tasted the cider already on tap at KCBC or in bottles, which frequently pop up at Hops & Hocks. And over at Bushwick Daily, we have to say this is some of the most delicious cider we have ever tasted.
